For example, say a DMG file isn't just storing compressed files like images and videos but is instead holding a software program. You can extract/open the DMG file in Windows using one of the programs mentioned below, but you can't actually execute the program and use it like you would another Windows application. Installation
Installing Firefox was a fine , quick experience.A new feature checks your add-ons to see which ones you installed and which ones come from third-party vendors, such as security suite makers. The browser will now ask you if you'd like to disable any of these third-party add-ons.

Interface
The menu bar has been squished into an orange button on the upper left, with menu options spread across two columns.the menu makes it much easier to get to bookmarks, add-ons, and history, as they now all live on one Menu pane.

Performance
Firefox is built on top of the powerful new Gecko platform, resulting in a safer, easier to use and more personal product.Mozilla plans to crowdsource its performance data to learn more about how the browser performs in real-world situations.

Features
Firefox's features are robust and generally competitive. The most important feature in the modern Firefox is Sync.Sync now smoothly syncs your bookmarks, passwords, preferences, history, and tabs, not only with other computers, but also with your Android version of Firefox.

If you would like to mirror the contents of the archives, we offer rsync access to do so. We have two different modules available for your use:

  • releases-rsync.mozilla.org::mozilla-current/, contains only the current version of Firefox and Thunderbird, 10G;
  • releases-rsync.mozilla.org::mozilla-releases/, contains Firefox, Thunderbird, and Sunbird releases, 100-130G.

Use them as follows:

Current releases only: rsync -a --delete --delete-after releases-rsync.mozilla.org::mozilla-current/ /your/local/mirror/path/

All releases: rsync -a --delete --delete-after releases-rsync.mozilla.org::mozilla-releases/ /your/local/mirror/path/

The mozilla-all module, which is the complete archive (what's visible on ftp.mozilla.org, 2.2TB and growing), is no longer publicly available via rsync due to its size. If you really want it all, contact us to make arrangements.

We are currently only accepting HTTP mirrors at this time.

To mirror us correctly, add the following directives to the VirtualHost or Directory configuration block for your mirror so that Apple disk images, Mozilla XPInstaller packs, partial updates, and JAR files are downloaded correctly to end-users' browsers.

Alternately, add 'AllowOverride FileInfo' to the appropriate configuration block and the /pub/mozilla.org/.htaccess file will add them for you automatically.

If you would like to be listed on the mirrors page, or included in our automatic redirect pool, please send email to mirrors-announce@mozilla.org with the following information:
